My name is Maxine Laplante. I grew up among the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Northwestern Connecticut, U.S.A. My goal is to allow The Artist’s Corner to showcase a variety of arts and crafts, talents and creative services, that may help to bring some enjoyment and color into the lives of others. Color which may be lacking, or color which may be needed.
What is The Artist’s Corner? It is a little place to escape. A little place in the corner of a room where creativity meets life. Where creativity comes to life. Where creativity lives and breathes life outward.
The Artist’s Corner is one of the places I go to help me at times to relax and rejuvenate, especially as I was undergoing breast cancer treatment. Breast cancer does not define who I am.
